On a mission....

I chose recruitment as my career. Having been in it since 1997, I'm mindful of the massive change that is going on around us and how the internet has altered the way people think and behave and this is no different in recruitment. In Six People we have created a way of recruiting people that keeps all the good things that we've learned from past experience, for example the need for a personal touch, honesty and simplicity. To this we've added some of the great things that technology can bring such as speed, efficiency and incredible cost savings.

This hasn't been easy and as we found faster and more efficient ways of finding great people we've inevitably upset a few of our competitors along the way. We realized we had smashed our own recruitment agency model, but in its place was something far more exciting and effective. Six People was born. By combining unique technologies with a deep understanding of what it's like to be an employer looking for a new member of staff, or a job seeker looking for the next career move, Six People embodies everything we believe is right about recruitment and staffing.

Six People is now working to fill new jobs every day for leading companies large and small, recruiting everyone from director to entry level. This gives us the satisfaction that we are making a real difference to how people recruit and find work. Our roots are in old school recruiting; relationships, face to face meetings and making introductions of real people - not just matching job description with résumé. Every week we meet some great people, but they don't align with current clients searches. So we built a confidential social networking tool that gives candidates increased exposure to our client hiring managers and clients a simple, no up-front cost way to access good people, on their own schedule. It just makes sense.

Direct hire placement and temporary assignments

Full service, contingency fee direct hire placement or temporary help managed by a professional recruiting associate. Clients who need a needle in a haystack or want to conduct 'exploratory' interviews count on Six People exclusively to help them hire the right person. With an extensive network of 'passive' job seekers and industry specialization we leave no stone unturned.

Connect Online

Handpicked job seekers planning to make a change in the next 30-90 days who want confidential exposure to our client hiring managers. By invitation only: each applicant is selected based on criteria including: work accomplishment, education and credentials compared to your colleagues of a similar background. Invited candidates schedule a phone conversation with a Six People recruiting associate to learn more about your accomplishments and the factors that are most important to you in selecting a new career opportunity. After we have all the info, your recruiting associate will create and activate a custom profile. The system is proprietary and exclusive to our invited clients. Candidate name, contact information and current employer name are not included. There is no cost to candidates and clients only pay on a contingency basis (i.e. only after they hire you).
