Having been in it since 1997, I'm mindful of the massive change that is going on around us and how the internet has altered the way people think and behave and this is no different in recruitment. In Six People we have created a way of recruiting people that keeps all the good things that we've learned from past experience, for example the need for a personal touch, honesty and simplicity. To this we've added some of the great things that technology can bring such as speed, efficiency and incredible cost savings.
This hasn't been easy and as we found faster and more efficient ways of finding great people we've inevitably upset a few of our competitors along the way. We realized we had smashed our own recruitment agency model, but in its place was something far more exciting and effective. Six People was born. By invitation only: each applicant is selected based on criteria including: work accomplishment, education and credentials compared to your colleagues of a similar background. Invited candidates schedule a phone conversation with a Six People recruiting associate to learn more about your accomplishments and the factors that are most important to you in selecting a new career opportunity. After we have all the info, your recruiting associate will create and activate a custom profile. The system is proprietary and exclusive to our invited clients. Candidate name, contact information and current employer name are not included. There is no cost to candidates and clients only pay on a contingency basis (i.e. only after they hire you).
